Da Capo

Our love was like a pop song
And I stared in your band
Our union harmonious
Legato and grand

Clever cadence
Tuned and In time
Blended brass
Of rhythm then rhyme

Symphonic substance
A measured Melody
Of pristine perfection
Your sticking Remedy

Your tempered Tempo
Became a patterned Paradiddle
As I am struck by the strings
Of your flesh fiddle

Plucking me just right
Right left
Right Right
All through the night

In the morning light
Left Right
Left left
Left out of my sight

Da Capo
I beg
