I hear her
she runs through the woods like a herd of oxen
fear rides her
fear of me
fear of her death
I can taste it on her
it slides down my throat like a syrupy sweet candy
I hear her breath
she's almost spent
I can't hide the smile any longer
it's been so long since I've fed on one such as her
plump and juicy
fresh and clean
pure of heart
inside my chest, beats a heart as black as night
devoid of human emotion
a weakness I have no use for
it tastes of bile and bitterness
I loved once
and only once
a mistake that has cost me eternity
Mmmm, she's slowed
I can feel her puny heart race
I smell the blood that has risen to the surface
that pours from the wounds inflicted by the trees
it scents the air like flowers
I breathe it in
oh yes
this one is good, so very good
her terror makes me giddy
I want to wear it as a cloak
feeling its texture between my fingers
I glide through the forest
the branches bending a path for me
they know me
they fear me
when death comes, all shall bend
my tongue slides over the points of my teeth
they ache to taste soft flesh
to tear at it
to drink from it
she's trapped now, by the forest
the trees grown too dense to slip through
her eyes wide with the horror before her
her nails clutch at the bark
giving me more delightful scents
her blood soaks her skin
I'd like to lick her like a candy cane
savoring all her sweet parts
I speak to her in a soothing voice
"Come now my pretty one, what is all this?
why do you run from me? Please calm yourself"
her screams dance over my skin
"I was like you once, young and pure
the world lay before me, bright and with promise"
she tries to push her way through the trees
a futile attempt at best
I move closer
her scent making my hunger rise
I can feel the change in me
the glow that sits behind my eyes
a million stars that dance inside
I stroke her face
she screams again
I silence her with a kiss
taking in her air
letting it fill me
she claws at my gown
my fingers caress her throat
she is mine
there is no doubt
I feel her fight wane
her surrender to me is delicious
a puddle in my arms
she gazes at me like a lover
begging me to take her
and take her I will
I will give her the greatest pleasure
and take my own from it
my hands lift the hem of her dress
finding soft thighs beneath
such a treasure this one
I'm almost sorry for the loss of her
she would warm my bed on the coldest of days
her legs part with the slightest touch of my hand
her thighs are slick with sweat and mmm, something more
it seems my little fawn enjoyed my kiss upon her mouth
I wonder how she would feel with my kisses elsewhere
I lower her slowly to the forest floor
she trembles with the fear that stays locked within her
I still feel the terror
like tiny pinpricks of pleasure on my skin
my tongue licks up her calf
she moans
yes, I was right about this one
she has much to offer me
a flick of my hand and she is bare to me
golden curls framing soft flesh
her breathing is rapid
speeding blood away from her heart
to lower, more exciting places
places for me to explore and taste
a veritable feast for the hungry
my teeth explore her thigh
the juicy vein just there
it glows blue in the moonlight
flowing like a river down her leg
just a taste
I need to know if she's as sweet as I believe her to be
I sink into her flesh like a hot knife through butter
she melts under me
sweetness and fire burst into my mouth
I never knew such goodness existed
I drink her down like wine
savoring her on my tongue
licking the stray droplets that escape my hungry mouth
now with the taste of her on my tongue
I will explore the honey that drips from the split of her body
my tongue licks around the swollen little knob of her
she writhes beneath me
I could take her to the highest heights and leave her there for eternity
I drink of her nectar
it is as sweet and clean as her blood
her body tenses, coiled for that great release
my fingers strum her pleasure like a violin
playing the tune that will take her there
my tongue flickers with inhuman speed
building and building the tension
one final stroke of my finger and she goes
screaming her pleasure into the winds
I slither up her body like a serpent
exploring the curves of her as I move
her eyes are half shut
glazed from what I just gave
I kiss her sweet lips once more
letting her taste herself upon my mouth
her whisper of thank you brings a cold smile to my lips
I tilt her head gently to the side
and take from her what I need
as I drink down her life
I feel the pleasure rush through me
warming places that have not been warmed in an age
melting the coldness that surrounds my heart if only but a touch
I feel her slip away into the dark
her purpose served
her life given
my hunger stated
I allow myself a moment of regret as I slip away
leaving her there under the trees
bathed in the moonlight
knowing she will rise again
and I will find her
