Plucked out mine heart
In efforts to feed off of it.
Decaying hope within raging winds
And crushing truths disintegrate into
Stomach acid.

Wishing for
The weighted presence within my sternum to serve me a
Purpose whilst ridding myself of the jealousy that
Drowns my soul, along with the rampant disdain
I hold for my being as a whole.
