Sitting alone in a covered tent
The fluid sound of a sitar stirs my senses
Mixed with electric guitar and the quiet rhythm of a didgeridoo
My eyes close and I just listen
The tent envelops me bringing me closer to my dreams
I am alone among several shadows that sway
Keeping the journey of delight moving along quietly
Peaceful and gentle memories are stirred
A higher plateau and the shadows begin to take shape
A single bongo player appears and only hands do I see
Keepers of time as I enter the celebration
A journey into the deep night of mystery
My dream opens through the shadow fog and smoke
I'm laying in the middle of the awning surrounded by plush pillows
A light leak in a seam of such a sensual tent
Reveal a tall majestic figure moving towards the bounty of satin, silk tapestry
To join me, I close my eyes and feel his hand reach out
An electric guitar sends shivers through my body and I turn to him
His fingers trace the outline of my aura, I feel such heat
All the instruments become one and as my eyes flicker
It is such a feeling like melting into two souls as they become one
Who is this figure, I know him, I remember as I relax into the drug
Known as my lover his pull so strong I don't resist
Floating, feeling together through incense
And the burning desire I continue to feel
Foretold the story..........and never-ending the dream
