You swirl round my mind
Like a sparkling melody.
Free floating, swaying
To a euphonious tune.
I can see you clearly,
But not with my eyes.
I can hear you distinctly,
But not with my ears.
I can touch your warmth,
But not with my fingers.
I can taste you surely,
But not with my tongue.
Yet I know you’re there,
And I know that you’re
Thinking of me.
And it makes me smile
Silently in my sleep.
