I was referring to "Eros" as a life drive. What I am saying is that life doesn't always give anyone what they desire--even though they may think it does. Therefore, when a person doesn't acquire what they are seeking, they start to believe life has lost its meaning for them.

I couldn't grasp the meaning Eros is Greek for desire or appetite yet you mention the water of life..... I can detect some sadness but can't tie it to anything.
