Everyday I see the sun.
Everyday I'm on the run.

Wherever I go I wear a mask.
Or else it'll be my final task.

The streets filled with tears and smoke.
It's enough to give a guy a stroke.

People fight and people spit.
All in line towards getting a hit.

Is this the land that we created?
This place by far is the most hated.

People we rely on are killing us.
Throwing us under a speeding bus.

People lay gathered on the beach.
Might as well drink a bottle of bleach.

Fanatics continue screaming out loud.
Soon they will leave without a sound.

People will cheer and soon they perish.
Forgetting everything they most cherished.

The blood boils and the sweat pours.
There'll be nothing left in the stores.

People will fight and people will die.
There's nowhere left to go and hide.

Children's lives are put at stake.
Their families have made a big mistake.

What is there to say of this future of ours?
We're left only to countdown the hours.

I head for home before the dark.
Last thing I hear is a dog's bark.

It's pretty quiet during the night.
Not even a single soul in sight.
