She rises at the break of dawn to meet the day with rested eyes.
Clearly the night was pure as clear mountain water and still as a river so wide.
She looks in the mirror and wonders if a man can see the good within.
Her smile brightens up everyday and men she knows
says it time and again.
When she's ready to leave she looks at herself in her closet mirror once more.
With a smile she says to herself " I'm going to show them all a lady " and walks out the door.
When she gets home from work she pours a glass of wine and puts her sore feet up.
Silently meditates to the sound of birds outside, something she really loves.
After a small dinner alone and a little TV before she goes to bed...
she falls asleep and thinks about tomorrow and the next day that lies ahead.
Rising again to meet the day with inquisitive and exciting eyes.
Her daily rituals begin again and the lady gives a smile so wide.
