With moonlight glittering in their eyes,
ten pairs of wings lift to the skies,
ten tiny creatures of womanly form,
raised in the night in a fairy tale swarm.

From mushroom circle to daisy ring,
ten tiny ladies dance and sing,
of ethereal fancy and breeze borne flight,
known only to those who prance in the night.

If mortal eyes by chance do see,
mortal minds do twist and flee,
for Faerie Worlds are theirs alone,
where mortal folk cannot roam.

If mankind stay where fairies leap,
and choose daisy rings in which to sleep,
then changelings then they do become,
with fairies only will they sup and run.

For if by fairies you are kept,
for in their circles to have slept,
when next then the moon does rise,
eleven wings will take to skies.
