On different airplanes
going the same way
fulfilling our promise
a vacation someday,
Our first sex in Shanghai
on a sweet consulting gig
casual indiscretion
discarding the fig …

… leaves over our nudity
which we quickly threw away
on the job thrill seeking
we both got our way,
A few more weeks of working
nights in bed in sync
could this be serious
what do you think?

The next time in Denver
two days is all we had
at The Four Seasons
the sex was not that bad,
Both in a rush
to get that job done
we both agree
the time we had was fun,

Then there was Paris
Rio and Madrid
down a slippery slope
it seems, we both had slid,
Our sex became perfunctional
meetings, a matter of fact
the spice we had in China
now something we lack,

So, we’re going on vacation
which we have never done
no laptops, no corporate dress
just warm sand and fun,
We both get off our jets
then board a small prop plane
you look so much different
and you look just the same,

A couple hours later
semi-naked in the sun
will we be enemies
when the week is done?
Without the constant chatter
of business all around
both wonder who’s this person
we weren’t looking for but found,

We scuba dive and drink
swim and eat good food
sex three times a day
we’re always in the mood,
But, we don’t get tattoos
or buy wedding rings
and both seem rather happy
when the Fat Lady sings,
