Silence and trembling, love and apologies,
I am a wound, shame and loss, grief and rage.
You are the counterbalance, The Lord of creation,
Something I cannot name, beyond human definition.

I long for your embrace, to lose myself in the infinity of you,
I hide from you in my fear of rejection, in my fear of annihilation.
I am a mass of torment and conflicted emotion,
Prostrate in terror and submission, humility, and devotion.

I commit myself to you. I trust in your glory.
