We have something special my darling dear
found in the dust of the cellar somehow.
An especial rarity, vintage year
begging to be opened, tasted right now.
Let us pour ourselves but a single glass,
and, as all good Epicureans do,
listen to gurgles, note bubbles of gas;
study its clarity, the legs and hue;
inhale the fragrance, describe its bouquet
as oaky or fruity, full bodied, round.
Then savor the flavor, roll it and play
with it, swishing, before swallowing down.
Enjoy the tipsy. Its magic will last
if we sip, rather than drink it too fast.

I’d love a taste, too!

She will be delicious….and should be savored…
