Sparkling against a background of darkness.
Looking for a connection that we all seek.
Twinkling in motion.
Light trails remind me of shooting stars in my own backyard.
I hold my breath and make a wish.
All are drawn to the signal.
Calling out in the twilight…. Here I am!
Attraction comes from innocents and from those looking to extinguish the glow.
How can they know the difference?
Finding another whose glow is in sync with your own.
Drawn together in the dark.
Combining an inner light from both that will push the darkness back.
A force that illuminates in all directions.
Glowing so bright….. Blinding any with intentions to dim what comes from inside.
I think my wish has come true!
