Walk away from me,
And make me fly.
Walk towards me,
And I feel my mouth go dry.

You dance about your work,
Each movement and gesture,
Makes my body jerk.

When you speak to me,
Each word, a slow undulating song.
As I drink your smell, I wonder:
Could my desire be wrong?

Then, you catch me,
With your breath.
I feel a tinge,
The call of a little death.
You brush my hand as we talk;
I blush as we walk.

You tell me of the boredom,
In your life.
I listen,
Letting your presence fuel my inner strife.
You tell me how your love is a test;
I can't help but notice the swell of your breast.

You touch my shoulder;
You ask if its right, to want a new lover.
I close my eyes, kiss your cheek;
I say its all right to want to start over.

We linger in each other's eyes,
For a time.
I dare.
We're there.
We surrender to the sweet,
Sensual crime.

Pressed in our kiss,
Your heart makes love to mine.
I feel our skins merge and shine.
We sway to the movement of bliss.

But, our reason takes hold.
Unleashed passions begin to fold.
My flesh, once so bold,
Is now suddenly cold.

We pull back,
Caught in a sudden attack.
But we can't break our embrace.
We can't walk away from this special place.

I whisper your name;
You look away, with a hint of shame.
I ask you to deny reason,
Give in to your body's treason.

I let you go,
You ask me to wait and see.
You tell me to let the kiss paint my memory.

I smile away your shame,
My heart's the only one to blame.
My desire falls away,
I'll do what you say.

But when you're ready for a new beginning,
I'll be there.
And as you go through this ending,
I'll be your flare.
