Every fool, to your hillside!
Give no words to the wise

Jest in their presence
Pretend to tell lies

Let them wonder
Let them blunder

Let them jeer and despise

Dearest fools, turn a deaf ear
When they preach to the choir

Dance around issues
They muddy and mire

Save your paces
Save your faces

Save yourselves from their ire

Let your caps tilt and jingle
While the blind lead the blind

Just sing out of tune
And get left behind

Keep a soft tone
Keep a safe zone

Keep a wide open mind

Every fool, to your hillside!
And turn a deaf ear

Let your caps jingle
Hold all secrets dear

Smile with blue skies
Smile with kind eyes

Smile with vision so clear

I love an elaborate structure and rhyme scheme in a poem...Therefore, I just had to read it again and again and...maybe I'm a little bit wiser now.

Thanks for sharing!
