My heart is shattered
upon the floor.
My tears keep falling.
I want nothing more
than the touch of your hand,
or you walking through the door.

Even though I feel broken,
used up and discarded,
my love for you does not waiver-
why I'm so broken hearted.
I'm sorry for the pain that we feel,
and the longing while we are parted.

Know that I'm missing you,
and long to cover your lips with mine.
To wrap my arms and legs around you,
and show you how I need the kind
of connection and therapy that
in you I would always find.

Until I can share my soul,
with you, in this life or the one to come,
know that I'll only long for you,
until our hearts as one will grow.
