I’ve written you poems
a thousand and one in my mind,
words vanishing
before they ink the paper,
light consuming dark,
dark distorting light
till I’m out of words,
but never out of love.

I’ve held your hand
across a roaring ocean
strings crashing into notes
like my life into yours,
splitting the soul
and reuniting again,
a dance here nor there,
but always with you.

This is just so beautiful! You say so much in so few words. 5 stars

This reads and flows as if it was done without much effort at all. Because I’m jealous, I’m gonna lie and tell myself this took you 6 months to draft and finish.

You should post more.
