in a world of light

there was music and dance

free falling and no ground

musings and romance

until the rakish sound

of untarnished laughter

attracted the night

and betimes after

shadows ruled

with an iron fist

and turned the clock

of a new born land

to future's end

in the blue bird flock

hearts have cooled

from dawning's mist

I really wished the world hadn't been as inspiring for this one as it was...and is.

A dark and foreboding journey, portrayed beautifully in words and image.

This is one of your best, snow. "...hearts have cooled from dawning's mist," may be the most heartfelt line I have read here. Beautiful.
