Fifteen years she stayed by their side
Giving and giving as time went by
Pouring her heart out
Sheltering so many souls
Even the angry ones
She gave them a home
With unlimited imagination
She gave them the world
Music and parties
And helped them to twirl
No matter the limits that left them behind
She showed them how to soar with only her mind
Her values and demeanor were so infectious
We would gather around her and join in the fun
Through her eyes we knew we were precious
Through her mind we knew we were whole
It didn't matter if we had a bad day
Just being around her made the clouds go away
We miss her kindness both inside and out
But we're so happy she's doing something for herself
Her passion now focused on her own happiness
Her creativity still limitless now making her own necklaces
For fifteen years she stayed by their side
For fifteen years, until she finally said goodbye
