Green Neon. Cool and caressing.
Echos of distant cars flitting
store-front to store-front.
Warm kisses in the day's last light;
drifting into night.

Scraps of paper swirled past doorways.
Pushed through brilliant shadows of
magenta, orange and brown.
Lipstick hearts scrawled on mirrors;
smeared mementos of sweeter days.

Patches of music. Notes drifting
through sweating, cluttered streets;
rising and tumbling.
Arcade photos; would that memory
be the same: fading with time.
