I never learned to fly ,
but, I felt the wind run through my wings,
I sit here all day long
all I do is sing
watching from above,
all I have I love.

Short and sweet, and you caught the essence

Thanks for the feedback.

Welcome with your first poem! I give 5 stars for the line "all I have I love". It reminds me of the song Amarillo by Morning, and its line "I ain't got a dime But what I've got is mine". In that song, the singer realizes that he is indeed 'rich' in what he has, which is his rodeo skills, his body and his strength, and the freedom of his life style. In my reading of your poem, you seem to be saying that when you look around at what you have, you love what you have. A worthy thing!
