your hands
your hold
your relentless requirement
that I stay
just
there
angled to perfection
bent, stretched
posed
held
held

An incantation
your eyes aglow in the conjuration
summoning leather, steel, silken cord
to twist and snake about my limbs
once, twice, three times
my eyes swim in enchantment
pulling taut
lashed by your words
held

no question of whether he will enjoy
no decisions to tweak and agonize
past the point of fixes, calculations
I can't let go unless paralyzed

daddy's here
he's got me
A safety net below the trapeze
so I can fly

he's got me
cradled in his bindings
his needs, made manifest
buckled and knotted and firm
murmuring into my skin
every reassurance
that I'm where I need to be
that all is set in motion
that I can rest
there are no mistakes I can possibly make

he's got me
