I would say yes, if I could
Cos I love you
Too - inordinately

You've given me more than you know
In the dark, for the day
You've walked upon my streets of gold
With reckless abandon

Your patient acceptance
Of all things heard and unseen
Your jovial caring-for-me
Of the dirtiest me
Your pointing to the Almighty
I'm not there yet
Your adoration of me and my body
It's truly overwhelming

I don't wish I could say yes
But I would say yes if I could
