Her Sudden Request

When listening,
he always looked into my eyes.
A bother for others, apparently.
And so I asked this old friend of mine.
To take me, throw me really,
against the ancient iron bars
guarding the alley to my gallery.
To snag my silkiness on the patina
built up long before my need for him.
To stretch my mind to ruin
until I gasped his name.
Raked, just as I asked.
Begged really.
The bruising a reminder
of my not so sweet submission.
