She liked playin in the lounge,
she had been in Lit awhile.
She teased and chatted all she could,
and was always handin out a TEXAS smile.

The bar was always open,
somehow she was pullin drinks.
The nics would make their request,
and she would play along so good you thought you could hear the ice cubes clink.

"He" had spoke to her several times,
in a lounge full of confusion all around.
Little did they know what was missin in their real worlds,
was about to be found.

He ordered a drink,
she fixed him up and sat it on the bar.
She stirred it with her finger,
that's when she made her mark.

A gentleman he was that night,
her curiosity with "Him" was sparked.
She knew when she signed off that night,
"He" had bumped her TEXAS heart.

The followin night she went back,
to her private world in Lit.
Watchin the scroll so closely now,
hopin "He" would tumble in.

They say a picture paints a thousands words,
She know this to be true.
The smile that came across her face was amazin,
as "He" came strollin through.

This night it was different.
they talked awhile in the lounge.
Then he made "His" move,
a quiet corner for them was found.

In no time their chat was comfortable,
they both had a confident air.
"He" proclaimed his stand so cool like,
"He said..."we both needed an affair..."

From that moment thangs began to change.
They took their playin from the walls of Lit.
The emotions had a wide range.
and she hoped she could handle it.

They tossed around a word called "perspective".
and assured one another it would be kept.
I thank that word floats on top the heart,
it has no perception of depth.

She gave "Him" a card one day,
along with a special key.
The key was to her heart,
and the card was to show "He" had priority.

Never doubt the power of this kind of love,
believe me it is so real.
It's can make one look over their real world,
and analyze the way they feel.
