Click hereI farted in a meeting room,
Embarrassment consumed my whole mind.
Between the running conference, I let it out
A soundless release, oh so unkind.
The smell was suffocating, like old veggies and eggs,
It was strong, and it lingered on,
The room enclosed and small,
With everyone guessing who'd done wrong.
Trying to keep a straight face,
I smiled at those around,
Acting like I didn't know,
While my friend's eyes searched the ground.
My dear friend, who knew me well,
Knew my aroma among the rest,
He looked at me with asking eyes,
And I knew I was caught in the mess.
He knows my smells and was sure,
The one who'd let rip was me.
But nobody else would ever know,
as we smiled silently.
