You walk away
as I stand there and sigh.
So many things to say-
but I'll let myself go tonight.

Haven't deleted your number,
but you weren't something good.
My memory won't slumber-
it kicks back as it should.

Don't want to cry again.
Don't want to fight.
I don't even want us to be friends.
I just want to let go tonight.

So I'll go out and have my fun.
Maybe dance, maybe sing
or get a number from someone.
I understand now I was just a fling.

I won't let myself become worse.
I will still live my life.
Losing you isn't the end or a curse.
I'll let myself go tonight.
