You told me what to do
I knew there was a distance
Away from me and you
I will be far from you
I'll never hear you say it
Your anger holds you down
But you know you have wronged me
And I have the higher ground
I stand on higher ground
On your dark, long, lonely nights
When you nurse your cold heart
Remember that I left you
So I wouldn't be alone
