EDELTRAUD 3: THE PSYCHOBITCH => AND SO YOU ALL GO

AVRA
SATURDAY EVENING

IF I EVER PASS FROM BELGIA

If I ever pass from Belgia,
and I'm seized with some nostalgia,
can I call you on the phone,
my departure to postpone,
till I'm sure,
that suspicion or conviction,
hide their own contradiction,
in a monogenic state,
whose illusion shines too late,
for any cure.

refrain
What on earth would we be doing, pretty Evi,
take a trip to Bruges, re-appraise its levee?

Take a trip into some passion,
never going out of fashion,
we could find some other use,
for this magic trip to Bruges,
there we are,
there's no cure in lovers fading,
only new ones fast invading,
gratifying any demand,
harmonizing sea with land,
we came far.

refrain
Could we think of something smarter to be doing,
in a choice between site-seeing and wooing?

PER FINIRE
If I ever pass from Belgia I will call,
and I hope that we can have some rock 'n roll.
