Up the stairs
corner flat
bottle of wine
this and that,

Minutes passed

street noise below
Parisian crowds,
Your perfume
your lingerie
both out
of words to say,

Just the feeling
the sensation
my work travel
your vacation,
I poured the wine
in bathroom glasses
we toasted to
the unwashed masses,

At the window
we absorbed the view
no rush to do
what we would do,

in as lovers might
gas lights lit
for coming night,

We drank the last
sip of wine
found the space

no hassle
