I was told "I don't understand why you write this nonsense "
I have an answer after some pondering
I splay the words on the screen for my readers eyes
They all say "you're so talented"
Because it's what I'm made for

I answer the call
Converse in my voice, the only one given
I articulate for my guests ears
What they retort, you can imagine it's... imaginative
They all say "you're so talented"
Because it's what I'm made for

I reply to a text
An innocent hello
A friend or so I thought
Within a excerpt or two I become an apparatus
They all say "you're so talented"
Because it's what I'm made for

No one really cares
No one really know me
It's so cold
It's so lonely
They all say "you're so talented"
Because it's what I'm made for

I give my body infrequently
My body in return gives me pain, deservedly
They all say "you're so talented"
Hands grasping at my flesh, never reaching for my heart
Because it's what I'm made for

I was told "I don't understand why you write this nonsense"
Because it's the only thing I have left to offer
The only thing I have of worth
