Flight attendant
wears half a bikini
the part she has
is very teeny,
Hilton Hotel
African sun
night flight from London
over and done,

The captain and I
drink Johnny Walker
full of stories
a good talker,
All about
women and flying
a few perhaps true
most clearly lying,

Forecast warning
a sandstorm tonight
desert Haboob
airport shut tight,
Captain says fine
a day to unwind
perhaps a new
flight attendant to find,

Now this was forty
years ago
when whiskey was sold
and one could go,
Pretty much anywhere
safe and secure
but that time now
has become a blur,

That flight attendant
and I still talk
but no longer roll
and no longer rock,
We talk about how
it was, back then
and would we do it
all again?
