Early in the morning
When the poetic urge
Strikes, I put aside sleep,
Using the time to write.
I put aside learning
And let noetic surge
Flow, channeling the deep
And supramundane light.
This act sates the yearning
Desire to cum and purge
In phrase and verse...to heap
Line on line in delight.
