I cannot touch you while you’re over there
I cannot stroke you
Or squeeze you
Or drop to my knees in front of you

You cannot hold me while I’m over here
You cannot grasp me
Or grip me
Or hungrily dip inside me

We cannot come together while we’re apart
We cannot ride each other
Or rub each other
There’s no question we love each other

So why do you stay
So far away?
