Click hereAll my life I was searching
Trying just to find
A mate to join with me his soul
Sharing happiness of mind
Perhaps by chance it came to be
Or may be all of plan
That my search ended for me then
And I found my perfect man
He wrote of words that haunted me
And life began anew
He was a light in a darkened place
Where love within me grew
The days passed by so quickly then
Each, a blessed one
Together we grew closer
And found life had just begun
And though we know without a doubt
We two will never meet
A contentment simmers deep within
Our hearts as one do beat
A gift we both were given
From someone up above
A chance to share all that we have
And bask in each other's love
Who knows why things do happen
In our lives and why they are
That is not ours to question
But to cherish from afar
My love for you, my dear one
Grows more powerful day by day
And if tomorrow was the end of all
I've had you to pave my way...
Reading such a beautifully written story one realises how lucky this man is. A beautiful woman writing such wonderful sweet words.
What a wonderful poem that seems to come straight from your heart! It was a pleasure reading it and I look forward to reading more from you!
What a touching and lovely poem. You made my heart sing. Thanks for the smiles.
Dear Oral. I was very plesantly surprised to find such a
sensitive yet clearly expressed set of lyrics that doesn't rely on eroticism to heighten the poem's appeal.
The qualities you described in your bio seem to be reflected in "Life Anew."
Congratulations. And More of the same, Please.
How unexpected to come across such a pure and touching sentiment in this forum. I look forward to seeing more of your writing!
