Church is in session and I hear "Oh!"—
The mustachioed, gravy man bellow.

Sunday is the day before Monday.
So, Sunday is not quite a fun day.
Return to work or school tomorrow.
You must work or beg, steal or borrow.
Work in the night or work in the day,
Working your life away for some pay—
Among the many toiling bitches
For whose work the spoils and the riches
Go to their masters, whose treasure chests
Buy tracts upon which their mansions rest.

Church is in session, all you sinners.
Bow and pray. Someday you'll be winners.
'Til then you're living life in the browns.
Someday you'll ascend to higher grounds.
