I am torn,
if you want to know the truth.
Most of the time I want to rip
your clothes off.
Push you against the wall.
Kiss you and find the spot
that makes you lose your breath.

And then sometimes
I want to hold your hand
and say,
look at this creek.
it is holier than anything
You could ever think
or dream or imagine.
Look, holding your hand,
and taking it all in.
