Well..there I went again....
Opposite of what I said...
Was GOING to do.
Said I was ok and good again..
Deep down stuck me like a pin
Marking each and every one sin..
Words flew, no one hears why bother
I'm tired of hurting you, me, and eachother.
It's so bad when I see it coming I run for cover.
I hate to say it's over....
Neither soul can grasp the severity
But I don't want us either to bleed ..
But like cautious warnings unseen
A familiar and painful scene.
You'll tell, and I'll start a screaming
You'll start crying and I'll start leaving
Pleads will come on both ends
Just matter of time on which one bends.
This time...it wasn't I
it wasn't you this time.
Both reacted calm and collected
Regret in each word detected
But still the love was ejected.
You'll be here....
And I there
Speechless
Helpless
But we stay in pain seeing our faces everyday
A hurt I much rather endure then stay away
For you my door will forever be open wide
And I'll always wait for the weight at my side.
To sleep once more and with pleasant dreams.
Waking to a pretty face who's sleeping it seems.
Maybe it'll come
Won't is a possibility
But like a lost puppy
I'll sit in the same spot
Right where you left me.
And when I see you coming
All the bad it melts away
And like a loyal dog you'll pet me
And I know it did good to stay
I'll follow you, either side by side or right behind
I'll never run ahead away from you again
Cause lost is what I don't want to be
In the end what I want to see..
Is us once more being you ....and being me.
