The lambs of purity will
not be sacrificed tonight
they've got to make it home
underneath the sweet moonlight.

So lost in the night they are
their way is lit by The Light...
of purity and innocence
that is so full and very bright.

The moon and stars are alive
and they are all like a guide...
to show all the lambs the way
they are all of the same pride.

The side streets are all so dark
and things are so hard to see...
street lights barely show the way
a fog in the air creeps free.

The lambs finally get home
under the pale moonlight...
the city was really too much,
they were all lost in the night.
