You're alone.

Perhaps you've always been,

Maybe you don't want to be,

But that's never been up to you,

Has it?

Love yourself,

Because no one else will.

Know yourself,

Because no one else ever could.

Hate yourself,

Because you know the truth,

That you settled for loneliness,

When the World offered so much more.

Die a little death,

Again and again,

Pretend to live,

Afraid of dying.

Love yourself,

Or hate yourself,

And your cowardice,

Your addiction,

Your aversion to happiness,

Recoil from the reaper's loving embrace.

Fear death,

Though you don't know what it means.

Love yourself,

Because tomorrow is a new day,

And you'll love yourself then,

Because it's all you'll ever know,

Hating yourself,

Because that's what you've come to believe.
