deeper blue I am with each breath of lost love’s scent deathsweet,
each day it gets worse,
when once was the quickening with the madness of love’s perfume,
once breath from the lips of spring’s first kiss,
now mist on the fathomless lake of remorse

where deeper blue I am in the breathing deep before the drowning,
the drowning
in memories of you,
of what once was,
will never be forgotten,

not footprints in snow...

and you,
each memory an astral flower,
your smile the crescent of a new born moon,
each star a needleprick bleeds light on the black garden of my skin,
tattooing memories,
each star an echo of your touch,
so many flowers!

majesty of sky my garden of you

each petal a silver tear
to water this garden of what cannot be forgotten
or let go.
