You are full of maybes
It’s your answer to everything
I’m so tired of hoping that this maybe
Will be the one that really happens

Maybe you’ll finally keep a promise
Maybe you’ll finally come to me
Maybe I’ll finally look into your eyes
Maybe I’ll finally feel your hands

Maybe you always say maybe
Because you are playing a game
Seeing how long you can string me along
Maybe I’ll keep waiting, hoping

But maybe … just maybe
The last maybe was too much
Maybe I’m done waiting
On all of your maybes

There are others who will come
No maybe about it
Others who will make time for me
Around their other responsibilities

Maybe it’s time I find a real man
One who may be right for me
I’m finally ending your game
Of endless maybes

For sure, promises alone don't mean anything, especially with an excuse of 'maybe' already involved. Thanks for this reminder.
