Min Lo Dong was his Chinese name
In America he was known as Albert Chen
After 35 years at Cal-Tec he retired
He’d been on the 2nd list for a Nobel prize
He bid farewell to his wife Gloria Cohn
And disappeared into China
Several months later I was hired by his wife
who had entered into a same sex relationship
with her long time friend Amelia Johnson
to find out what had happened to Albert
Of course the Chinese government
knew exactly where he was
I was directed to the Mogao Grottoes,
also known as the 1000 Buddah's Caves
Within several days I had located Min Lo Dong
I found him naked squatting on a towel
He was unresponsive to my questions
I kept asking “Why?”
Finally he leaned back and chanted,
OOOOOOOOoooooooOOOOOOOOOOO
OOOOOOOOoooooooOOOOOOOOOOO
WYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEE

NOT
Then he bent forward, stooped shouldered, picked up his towel and retreated to a darker part of the cave
I flew back to California the next day
I reported my findings to the two ladies
His wife commented,
“I’d wondered where that towel had gone”
