Stares into the mirror
Showing closed doors of lost dreams
Viewed as the eternal reflections
Telling a tale of regrets and disappointments

Shadows swirl around teasing
Things that could have been
Repressed desires and unfortunate decisions
Littering the broken road of life's passage

Figments of possible futures
Tales of the travels that could be
Voiced hopes and aspirations
Yearning to be fulfilled in times to come

Turn away from the surface
Illusions of possible futures and
Ghosted memories of times past
Unnerving in times immortal limbo

Caught between the seconds
Pieces of the broken soul shattered by pains crucible
Mended in the forge of the possible
Unknowing chances remain to be explored

Unfolding emotional lives
Revealed in the glass's shine
Loves had and lost in a series of experiences
Shown as you walk away from the Temporal Mirror.
