a moment
that is only a raindrop
sliding down the window

memories flowing on glass,
blending and flowing
through time

this moment
chosen by the mind

she remembers
when the mirror
was a source of pain

when she couldn’t stand
to see
her own face

moment
slipping on moment
blending into scenes
of sweeter times

when eyes are full
in sweeter faces
whispering
their dreamy promises

her fingers wipe
her tears
and the glass
saving a place
for tomorrow

Good stuff.

Brilliant. I enjoyed this because of its ironic beauty. Thank you for sharing. :)
