My Eyes Give Me Away

Behold as my eyes gaze upon you
Knowing thy love is true
My eyes cannot hide this mystery
For they give me away

Emotions…

Yearning for that one with such desire
So burning within like a forest fire
Searching yet unsure where to turn
Simply knowing I want to embrace that burn

Unification is the easy part
Commitment is not
when phobia is there from the start
Needing to set that free
In order to simply be me

Some might call it desperation this seeking
How can it be if I follow my heartstrings?
Something so intangible
Yet haunts me as describable…
then indescribable

So many Contradictions….
All one can do is hold on to hope
Sometimes it feels like dangling from a rope
Sensations engulfing that could make any mad
Engulfing a person in that place, oh so sad!

Simplicity is in finding that soul mate
The cure is to meet before it is too late

Why must it be so difficult to obtain
Reality there is so much to gain

Atlas my search continues…
Sharing a piece of me as I am willing to give
For I do not know of any other way to live
