My love, can’t you remember?

You left me there and I could not look back, I knew you wouldn’t. You drove away and I didn’t see you till midnight, drunk and mean and silent with spite.

Hate me all you want. Curse me, at least speak to me.

Your killing eyes don’t bother me as much as the memory of when you would say you loved me.

I fear you’ll never say it again. I fear you don’t remember, I fear you’ve forgot.

You would tell me, wouldn’t you?

This forest only grows around me and the silence it screams kills my senses and threatens to make me forget what it felt like to be loved.

You forget so easy. I bet you can’t remember.

You were my love.
