She stood naked decorating the Christmas tree,
As lovely as a snow globe for all of us to see.
Mrs. Santa Clause
Getting applause
From all of us there, especially me.

She wore only the Santa hat on top of her head.
Lined in white fir and the top was all red.
The picture of cheer,
With ornaments of reindeer,
And I couldn’t wait to get Mrs. Claus off to bed.

The stockings were hung at the chimney with care.
My wife stood at the tree, all lovely and bare.
She stood really near it
In fine Christmas spirit,
Smiling, she said, “I had nothing to wear.”
