broken heart
i stare at insignificance
scattered pieces
shattered mirror soul
oblivion

in utter darkness
speechless
bare
weary

i wander endlessly
empty streets
shadowed by
neuropathy
searching
for your
presence

heartbeat

memory

fading completely
chilled to the bone
i linger in the
colourless
shunned
numbness
of the cold

fog of darkness
cover
my veins
glazing my eyes
fills me
with pain
leavening me
lonely
hopeless
afraid
in tears
indifferent
to
anything
changed

red streaks
of my happiness
dripping into timelessness
forever lost
to the
dreaded dead
crusts
of
this earth
