I don’t need to be
your valentine
I’m not even sure
what that means

I need to see your smile
hear your laugh
cause your happiness
even if it might fade

I need to reach your mind
slip into your thoughts
inspire gentle dreams
and tingles in your body

I need to have your touch
and know your warmth
your eager passion
your free-form lust

unleashing abandon
whirls of desire
surging from pleasure
until the frenzy ebbs

unwinding together
with sated groans
fading into your small sighs
and your sleepy affection

I need to feel you close
beyond the physical
where time hesitates
and space is irrelevant

I need you in myriad ways
simple and intricate
primal and intimate
that I can’t quite explain

I need to share with you
this perfect feeling
but I don’t need to be
your valentine

That was beautiful, Zan.

Excellent

Very hot, and pretty poignant too. A feeling of "sometimes simple is best" or "show me, don't tell me." That's what I get off of this work.
